OEM Fenders
OEM Fenders FAQ
What Do Fenders Do for Vehicles?
As quarter panels generally made of plastic, aluminum, rubber, fiberglass, or alloy and extending between the doors and bumpers, they both frame the wheel wells and help protect the body during minor collisions. In one sense, they work a lot like splash guards, helping shield the wheels and, to some degree, the undercarriage from road debris kicked up during a drive. Put simply, where they aren't otherwise helping protect parts it can be really expensive to replace, they're helping safeguard you and your passengers.
How Much Does it Cost to Replace a Fender on Average?
Anywhere from a few hundred dollars CAD to several thousand. That's per fender, too. It can also depend on the make and model you drive; replacing a fender on a Ford Fusion, for example, may end up a little cheaper than replacing one on, say, a Dodge Ram 1500 or a Chevy Silverado 1500. Wait too long and let both of them go, though, and that bill can really start to add up. It's best to get any that are cracked, dented, or rusted out replaced immediately.
